Chief Financial Officer
Needed for DRB Capital Located in Delray Beach, FL.
Oversee the financial performance of DRB Capital and its related entities.
Ensure that the company meets its financial, regulatory, and tax obligations while maintaining strong internal controls over accounting, financial, regulatory, and tax reporting. Monitor and ensure that entities have adequate liquidity, capital, and cash flow to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee the accounting team and have responsibility for the activities and development of the accounting team. Improve accounting processes, implementing accounting policies and controls to ensure financial results are accurate. Oversee the development of Key Performance Indicators. Monitor the performance of the business and guide the entire accounting staff.
Provide technical accounting advice as it is related to:
- Consolidated Financial Statements
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Financial Modeling
- Implementation of Accounting Standards
- Financial Automation.
Telecommuting is permitted.
Requires: CPA designation and bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in accounting or finance and ten (10) years of experience in leadership financial roles.
Experience In:
- Treasury and Capital markets including experience in oversight of interest rate risk hedging and Asset Liability Management, including work with Options pricing theory and valuation models.
- Managing funding, liquidity, and capital risk requirements such as long- and short-term cash flow forecasting, contingent Funding Plans, Capital Allocation, capital structure, and debt facility management to ensure sufficient liquidity and debt capacity.
- Asset-backed securitizations, including work with transactional flows and the creation of efficient process flows in servicing and servicing operations.
- Strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting, including developing driver-based forecasting, financial modeling for strategic initiatives, creating robust budgets, and tracking performance against targets.
- Building technology and operational framework to develop, monitor, and report financial and operational KPI’s and KRI’s, as well as in leading efforts to improve operations to achieve quality management targets.
- Applying pricing, standard costing, and cost volume profit analysis in financial services businesses.
- Implementing and working with integrated ERP systems for Accounting, Financial Reporting, Consolidations, Planning and Forecasting.
- Complex accounting standards such as derivative accounting, loan repurchase reserve modeling, multi-entry and multi-level consolidations, Accounting for VIEs, ASC 460, ASC 805 and ASC 860.
- Internal control environments (COS/ COBIT) and implementing internal controls to ensure strong controls over financial reporting.
- Financial reporting, preparation, and accountability for GAAP financial statements.
